INTRODUCTION
This Research Group strives to foster active research by building a novel interdisciplinary field based on micro-nano mechatronics. This field will promote “the world-highest-level of micro nano mechatronics research with an emphasis on originality” from a viewpoint of not only the acquisition of advanced technology, but also social and industrial issues. To promote our program, our group members who are coming from various research background such as materials, mechanical science, system measurement/ control engineering and advanced bio-medicine will work together synergistically. 


VISION
To be recognised as an advanced of micro nano mechatronics group in academic, research and technology innovation.

MISSION
To create novel functional materials and advanced mechatronics systems and discover breakthroughs in next-generation medicine and bio-medical solutions.


OBJECTIVES
1. To provide a dedicated platform for the exchange of ideas and knowledge among researchers, lecturers, students and industries from all over the world.
2. To encourage researchers to be creative while exploiting new and practical ideas of innovation products which can be inspired by others.
3. To be consistence and develop strong team spirit and togetherness in carrying micro nano mechatronics group in highest level.
4. To collaborate with other researcher, universities and industries in a manner that work towards fulfilling the vision and mission. 
5. To conduct other activities, training and research program,seminar, discussion as decided by group towards fulfilling the vision and mission.

  • Aichi High School of Technology and Engineering visit to MNSE Research Group   On 8th March 2018, 34 students with 4 teachers from Aichi High School of Technology and Engineering, Nagoya, Japan had visited MNSE Research Group Lab, UTM.

  • Sites Visit to Institute Medical Research (IMR), Kuala Lumpur for collaboration of cancer cell analysis using microfluidic             On 30 January 2018, our research group member, PM. Ir. Dr. Mohd Ridzuan Bin Ahmad with students Muhammad Asraf Bin Mansor has been visited IMR at Kuala Lumpur. The objective was actually to discuss about our collaboration with IMR for cancer cell analysis by using microfluidic. Our student also has been utilized the IMR facilities for conduct his experiment about caner cell inside microfluidic. The site visit was very successful and we have been invited to do our research at IMR Kuala Lumpur.

  • Congratulation to Ida Laila on achieving her PhD Degree                           On 26 December 2017, our PHD's student have been done her PhD Degree on "Tapered Microchannel For Multi-Particle Passive Separation Based On Hydrodynamic Resistance".
